The mission of the Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission's Causeway Police Department is to promote the Commission's highway safety enforcement initiatives, protect the integrity of property under the Commission's control and promote safe and efficient vehicular travel upon the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway and other highways and bridges within the jurisdiction of the department.  Causeway Police officers shall provide service with integrity and fairness.
