If you have any of the windshields or vehicles listed below contact the TollTag® Office before installing your TollTag®. Certain windshields and window tints interfere with the proper operation of the Toll Tags. Insta-ClearTM windshields (with metallic layers designed for de-icing) on Ford and Lincoln-Mercury cars may cause performance problems. Windshields with special window tint will also not allow TollTags to be read If you have the following vehicles, contact the Commuter Sales Store: Lumina Van, Silhouette, Pontiac Transport, Cadillac Brougham, Mazda 929 (90 model or later) Buick Roadmaster Wagon, Suburu Sports, 1996 Chevy Caprice Classic w/Ultima Package, and 1996 Chevy Impala. 1 - Clean and dry the inside lower left windshield surface. 2 - Remove the two clear plastic strips from the back of the mounting strips on the TollTag®. 3 - Position the TollTag® Template inside the windshield. The left edge of the template should be placed against the left side of the windshield. The bottom edge of the template should be placed at the top of the vehicle brake tag. 4 - Place the TollTag® inside the cutout of the template and press the TolTag° firmly against the glass. Remove the template from the windshield. Installation is complete. 5 - To remove the TollTag®, pull it directly away from the windshield. Two mounting strips will remain on your windshield so you may replace the TollTag®. The TollTag® is attached to the inside of the windshield - two inches above the brake tag and two inches from the edge of the windshield
